Dinner & Dance to honor the Parade Grand Marshall and Princess Pat.
Music will be provided by Tidewater Drive.
The Grand Marshall for the 45th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is Timothy Szymanski, commanding officer of Naval Special Warfare Group Two, and this year's Princess Pat is Veronica Callahan.

SHAMROCKIN IN GHENT: Ghent Street Party
  Friday, March 16th
  6 - 10 P.M.
  Colley Avenue in Ghent
Tis the luck of the Irish we’ll be sharin’ on Colley Avenue, between Shirley & Gates Avenue in the Heart of Ghent, as we welcome all our neighbors to the party of the year, that has been a long standing tradition for the community. Come out and enjoy authentic Irish music from 6:00pm – 8:00pm with a live band from 8:00pm to 10:00pm.
The celebration will continue into the “wee” hours of the night at Ghent’s popular restaurants and nightspots.
All proceeds benefit Hope House Foundation a local non-profit organization providing independent living services to adults with developmental disabilities in Hampton Roads.
We encourage you to help us continue this annual St. Patty’s Day tradition and come out and enjoy the sounds and festivities and help us  “paint Ghent green!”
 
44th ANNUAL SAINT PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
  Saturday, March 17th
  The Parade steps off at 10 A.M.

On-street parking is available on most of the adjacent blocks along the parade route. Offstreet parking is available at the Sarah Constant Beach Park, Ocean View Beach Park, and Ocean View Elementary.
Don't miss the After Parade Party 12:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.,  at the Knights of Columbus grounds for live music, food, and fun. There will be a variety of food vendors and live music. This years bands will be: Hotcakes (inside the Hall) and Bill Deals The Original Rhondels (outside). The party is held immediately following the parade and is hosted by The Columbian Club of Ocean View. 211 W. Government Ave, Norfolk, VA. This event is free and open to the public (21 and up).
 
SHAM ROCK'N ROLL: St. Patty's Day in Downtown Norfolk
  Saturday, March 17th
  5 - 9 P.M.
  TowneBank Fountain Park at Town Point Park, Downtown Norfolk
  With themed specialty adult beverages available for purchase, guests will be green with envy at this St. Patrick's Day celebration.
Get outside and party like a Leprechaun! It is St. Patty's Day in Downtown Norfolk.
