Bank Street Garage Now Open!

Bank Street Garage opened to parkers in downtown Norfolk on March 1, 2010. This new garage - located at 441 Bank Street - contains 1,372 parking spaces to accommodate monthly and transient parkers. Bank Street Garage will also provide additional parking for patrons of downtown venues.

Light Rail and Downtown Construction

Parking is available in over 9,000 spaces in downtown facilities after 6 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends, and is easily accessible via primary streets outside the construction zones.  To help motorists plan their route into and out of Norfolk, the City provides an up-to-date listing of lane and street closures at www.norfolk.gov/publicworks/tipreport.asp.  Click here for The Tide Light Rail information.  For HRT and the NET route information, contact Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) at 757-222-6100.
